DAVID N. OUBRE, M.D.

Dr. David Oubre founded Pontchartrain Cancer Center in Covington and Hammond in 2005. He received his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He completed his residency at Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge, followed by a fellowship in Oncology and Hematology at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.  Dr. Oubre is board certified in both Medical Oncology and Hematology.

Dr. Oubre is a board member of the St. Tammany Cancer Fund, a charitable organization which provides scholarships to college students affected by cancer. He is the Louisiana representative for the State Affiliate Council for the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Oubre is the immediate past president of the President of the Louisiana Oncology Society. He was the 2019 Belles and Beaus recipient from the American Cancer Society. 

Dr. Oubre lives in Mandeville with his wife Kathy and their kids.

CASSIE B. PEART, MSN, NP-C

Cassie B. Peart MSN, APRN, NP-C received a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2002 from Southeastern Louisiana University. She began her career as a registered nurse in oncology at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana. Cassie worked with oncology and hematology patients in the hospital, infusion clinic, and physician office settings.

In 2011, Cassie received her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Loyola University. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She continued to work in oncology and hematology as a nurse practitioner in Metairie before joining Pontchartrain Cancer Center in 2016.  Cassie has now acquired over fourteen years of oncology and hematology experience and remains focused and engaged in her future with oncology and advance practice nursing.

Cassie is currently a member of the Oncology Society of Nursing and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.


Jessica Bosch

Jessica Bosch, MSN, ANP-C

Jessica Bosch received her bachelor’s degree in nursing with a minor in biology from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2004. She has experience in both oncology and critical care. In 2011, she received her Master of Science from SLU. As a nurse practitioner, she has experience in pulmonology, nephrology, cardiology and oncology. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In 2021 she also received her Masters of Business in Healthcare Administration. She has over 18 years experience in healthcare. Jessica also served as a Clinical Instructor at Southeastern University of the Bachelor of Nursing program. She is also very active in our community by making 2-4 medical mission trips per year to underserved countries around the world as well as volunteering at a medical outreach clinic in the Greater New Orleans area. Jessica joined Pontchartrain Cancer Center in 2017.

Kamie Williams, DNP, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C

Kamie Williams, DNP, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C received a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2016 from the University of Southern Mississippi. She began her career as a registered nurse on the oncology unit at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, Louisiana. From there, she began working as an infusion nurse at Pontchartrain Cancer Center in 2017.

During her time at Pontchartrain Cancer Center, she continued her education and received her Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult- Gerontology Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama in 2019. She began her career as a nurse practitioner with Pontchartrain Cancer Center in 2020. In 2021, Kamie earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama after presenting her doctoral thesis aimed at improving cancer survivorship care by implementing survivorship care plans at treatment completion. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Oncology Society of Nursing
